This is a very old and rare toy Sweet Pea.
Although there is no label, I am quietly confident that this is an early 1930s Gund doll but I cannot verify this.
He has been played with and with age, he shows the normal signs of wear and two small areas of open seam on the shoulder and crotch.
This apart, the toy is very much intact and well stuffed. The body is made from plush fur (now quite worn) and the beautiful red pants are corduroy. The gave and bonnet are plastic
This toy is not a modern remake but a original toy. Wonderful addition to any collection.
