This is a charming little Merrythought Polar bear, 12 inches tall, with a soft, squishy body and creamy white fur. (One of the pictures – where he is seated on a chair – makes him look darker than he is – his fur is actually quite light.)
He has pale eyes, a velvety snout and a very smiley mouth. There are stitched claws on his front paws, and his hind paws are stiffened with card. One of these paws is quite discoloured, pinkish, possibly scorched but this is underneath, so doesn’t show too much. He has neat little velvety ears in a pale greenish colour. His shape is lovely – very Polar Bearish.
His label reads Merrythought Ltd, Made in England, with cleaning instructions, but no CE mark. He has obviously been well looked after, so is in good loved condition. He’s light, so will be easy to ship overseas.
