This unusual looking vintage teddy bear was made during the 1940s and is fully jointed. Not sure of origins, but he has characteristics of a Chiltern.
He is filled with wood wool throughout, has orange/black glass eyes and has his original black stitched nose and mouth. He has a non working squeaker in his tummy and is made from a lovely gold coloured mohair with brown cloth pads. He does need a little repair work where his left paw pad meets his mohair – wood wool is visable. He has four black stitched claws on each paw – one stitch on right paw and right foot pad need to be restitched, otherwise no holes or tears.
He measures approximately 17″ in height and is a gorgeous vintage teddy who is looking for a new loving home in time for Christmas.
