This lovely vintage teddy bear was made during the 1950s and is all original. Not sure of his origins but think that he is German – possibly Steiff or Hermann??
He is fully jointed and has a working growler in his tummy. He is made from a very sparse, short pile blond coloured mohair and is stuffed with wood wool throughout. He has orange/black plastic eyes, shaved muzzle with a black stitched “shield” shaped nose with an unusual open felt mouth.
He also has very unusual paws which curve over at the “wrist”.
He has pale coloured felt pads.
He measures approximately 16″ in height.
