A fabulous old 1940s large 27″ Chiltern hugmee teddy. Characteristic covered velvet pads and soft filled arms legs…straw filled head. Can feel a cardboard insert in his foot under the pad material. Only has one of his original clear glass eyes and this is scratched so he has been in the wars a little. Felt sorry for him so bought him heart ruling head and intended restoring him but have too many bears and too many projects and I need to now be sensible . He is quite saggy obviously from years of cuddles but love bears with some past evidence of loving. He is still a lovely old teddy and waiting for someone to give him a new home for Christmas and maybe give him some tlc.
