This sweet little bear is called primrose,i have had her a long time and she has such a sweet face,she reminds me of a elegant old lady,with a gentle smile and who has seen alot in her time.primrose is a 1912 german bing bear,she has her origional eyes,the sweetest ears and a darling nose and mouth.she has had a repair on the back on the top of her head but wasent till recently i noticed it,as its so well done,but she dose have a small hole on the top of her head at the front,where the straw is showing there,but it could be repaired like the other one on her head,by a teddy bear restorer,and the fabric is quite thin just on the snout area,but she has such a lovely face,i have lived with her like that.and it never bothered me.primrose is 20 inches long,she has a big hump on her back,and has something rattling in her tummy like a growler or box.she has flat feet and looks like her origional paw pads they have aged in colour over time,the left one bends a tiny bit at the wrist,and there is a tiny hole in the right paw.see photos.her tummy has a little bit of mohair left,i have kept her in a box with acid free tissue paper and lavender bags and she has been in te freezer,it seems such a shame to do that,she has worn well for a old lady and needs someone to look after her with respect,she is a collectors bear,not for children,i think primrose would be quite happy sitting in a chair,watching the world go by.please study photos,and please feel free to ask any questions,primrose will be sent in a box signed for special delivery to cover the insurance,i am open to offers but not below the asking price,i am not an expert on bears but saw this exact bear ages ago dated to 1912 and read up on the history of it and the length of her and detailing i was able to see she was 1912. thank you for looking.primrose has other friends listed …….
