Poor old bear,Chiltern I think, probably made in the 30’s or early 40’s.Needs a bit of TLC .
Somebody’s had a go at keeping him going and given him new ears and pads .Sewn his head on,joint seems to be still there but not working .Stuffing missing in arms, legs and head.Could be stuffed with a mixture ,wood wool ,flock, cloth ,paper .I expect it’s all in there.Not a lot of mohair left.Eyes and nose redone with wool .Arm and leg joints ok .The odd hole but he’s not rotten so he could be done up Approximate height 18 inches 46 cms. He’s got a strange appeal as he is if you didn’t fancy rejuvenating him .
