This listing is for ‘Teeny’ a lovely Chiltern Teddy bear from the 1930s. She is 13 inches tall and has loads of character. She has been pre loved and played with so only has a sparse covering of fur so please look at all the photos as they form part of the description. The backing material is a gold colour and her fur is blond.Other than thinning areas of mohair she is in excellent condition considering her age…..She is 5 way jointed and all joints move well and feel very secure. Teeny has been very carefully cleaned and smells nicely of bear (no strong perfume smells) Her paw pads are all original, they are in good condition with no holes. She has had sympathetic and meticulous restoration to her left wrist and also a tiny area on her right heel…they are hardly noticeable and all is very secure….She has her original glass eyes which were painted on the backs but some of this has now worn off, they are both very secure. She has all her original nose and mouth stitching intact and there are no claw stitches. She is firmly filled with Kapok. Teeny comes with her hand made French vintage linen trousers, soft fluffy mohair jumper, knitted bag, neck tie, and two mohair hats…one of the hats has space for her ears to fit through….she couldn’t decide which one she liked best so she is bringing both! She will come carefully wrapped in a strong cotton drawstring bag, bubble wrap and boxed and posted by Royal Mail next day 1pm special delivery with insurance to cover the full value.If you aren’t delighted with your bear you are welcome to return her to me for a full refund…(buyer pays return postage) She comes from a smoke free home. Please note that the props such as the knitting basket and mirror are not included in the sale..
