Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Antique Old Bear.Oliver is a charming English vintage teddy bear who I think dates to the 1950s/ 60s. He stands at 15 inches tall and is solidly stuffed throughout with a wood wool filled head, firm stuffed body and scooped arms.He is 5 way jointed with good joint connections though his head has some resistance and left leg is a little squeaky. He has amber and black glass eyes, and a hand stitched nose and mouth.Oliver has off white plush paw pads which are a bit grubby. There is a repair on his right paw. He has sparse coverage of mohair plush and there are visible seams and repairs , especially on his right leg, under his chin and on his back where there is also a balder patch. This seems to be where he had a squeaker, which no longer works.Oliver has a friendly demeanour and is looking for a loving home.He is no longer suitable as a toy. He is a collectors item only.
