We describe this bear as Steiff style as he has all the elements that one would expect: hump back, long arms, shaved muzzle. But there is no stud in the ear and we can find (if one even could) no trace of one having been removed. However he’s a terrific bear in very good nick. Not that old we suspect, he’s been in my wife’s collection for about 20 years.
