Sandrine – Characterful 1930/40s French Mohair Teddy Bear – Old Antique in dress
Introducing this lovely French Lady – Sandrine. She’s a very distinctive ted, dating to around the 1930’s-40’s.She is fully jointed stands 25inches tall, stuffed with kapok & woodwool with a quiet working squeaker. She has large cupped ears, chubby body, short arms and slightly curved wrists with big chunky feet. Sandrine has all the characteristics to lead me to feel she is a French Ted.Sandrine is a little saggy on her thighs and a heavy head (poor poppet) but has good clean golden fur coverage with only a little bald patch on her leg as photographed, original rexine pads, original claw and beautiful facial stitching, and she also has pretty little original painted back glass eyes.She’s now searching for a new home she can potter around, and either be the special solo Teddy or to really compliment a hug.All offers considered and I always combine postage costs where applicable.
