This is Ruby – a delightful old Chad Valley ted with issues – but just lovely and such a wonderful character – don’t tell her I said so but she looks like a wonderful old bag lady! She is 17 inches tall but looks smaller as she has that lovely slouchy look. She is fully jointed and kapok stuffed with woodwool to her muzzle. Her pads are generally ok with the obvious exception of one foot pad which would have had the Chad Valley label – I believe some jealous old ted has stolen it from her! – another pad has nibbles and another a few “mommy” stitches but she is overall strong. As you can see Ruby has lost most of her mohair and is pretty much threadbare with the exception of her slightly hairy legs (a common female affliction!) – but she looks wonderful in her vintage outfit – she is all dressed up in her Sunday best! She has a lovely face with a well kissed nose and will come to you exactly as pictured – oozing character and charm! Can you resist??…………
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable and as pictured. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
