Reginald is a FABULOUS old Chiltern bear selling in exceptional condition for his age – he dates to the 30’s/early 40’s. Reg is 15 inches tall, fully jointed & largely kapok stuffed with woodwool to his muzzle – he has a non-working growler. His pads are all original – the feet are cardlined & a little lighter than the hands where his velvet has worn back slightly – all are in good condition. As you can see he has a wonderful covering of rich cinnamon mohair – he will definately be warm this winter! There are a few sparse patches to his face so take a good look at the pictures but I would describe his overall coverage as exceptional. He has a lovely old face with clear glass eyes which I think are probably replacements as is his nose & mouth stitching which has been beautifully redone in keeping with the original. Reginald is a wonderful old character with a very cheeky smile – he would look lovely in a clown costume as he is quite quirky looking – but for now he will arrive in his vintage cardi with badge xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. Bears sent overseas will be tracked hence the higher postal cost xxx
