This lovely vintage Chiltern teddy bear was made during the 1930s and is a gorgeous looking old teddy bear.
He is fully jointed – all joints are lovely and tight – and is all original. He has his original clear glass eyes with black pupils painted on the back, with original black stitched nose – longer upward facing outer stitches and a black stitched mouth.
He is very firmly stuffed with wood wool and has a non working growler in his tummy. He measures approximately 14″ in height and has his original cloth pads – some discolouring and holes to these – please see photos for condition. He has the remains of his original black stitched claws. Photos do not do him justice!!!!
He is made from blond coloured mohair, with approximately 20% of this remaining nowadays.
