Very Rare Merrythought Red Panda teddy bear.
Circa 1930s
He is made from mohair in a cinnamon / red and off white.
He is made in a standing position and is unjointed.
There is a non working squeaker in tummy.

He is approx 9 inches high x 15 inches in length.
He has glass eyes , thread nose and mouth.
There is slight hair loss around his neck, otherwise he has a good coverage.
He may benefit from a gentle clean as he has been stored for the last few years prior to that he was displayed in my cabinet.
His colour is still strong.
He has lived with me in a non smoking home for the last 15 years.
He is a lovely unusual panda and displays well with old teddy bears and dolls.
