Elsie is a wonderful antique teddy bear made by Wilhelm Strunz. She measures 8.5″ rare to find in such a small size! with her original nose/claw stitching. Elsie is solidly stuffed with wood wool with a non working squeaker and wears a delightful antique Edwardian sailor outfit. All of her pads have been re-covered with blue striped white cloth which I think is really sweet. there is a small hole to the back of one foot exposing wood wool( see pic)
