A lovable, and mega rare, gorgeous Jopi dog purse c.1930s, designed to be carried under the arm like a clutch. Unjointed, he’s all original with a small storage compartment accessed by a long metal zip running along his back. He measures 30 cms (12″) long from nose to bushy tail, and is stuffed with woodwool. Doggy has large amber glass eyes with red felt backs, and a black-embroidered nose and mouth. There’s a also a tiny red airbrushed tongue. All his claws are intact, and his cream velvet pads are in good condition, if a little darkened with age. His interior purse is lined with orange fabric, and also in good condition.He has lots of mohair – the peachy areas are slightly faded, and there’s a small blue stain to his white fur, close to his zip. Overall, though, he’s a top dog with an amazing face. Thanks for looking.
