Olga is a really old and unusual bear. She measures 15 inches tall and is made from the most wonderful pink mohair. Dating to the 1920s she is believed to be German in origin and is filled with wood wool. Although faded she retains a good covering of wavy mohair, she has a growler inside her which still makes a noise. Her eyes are glass on glass stems and glued in, the right one is loose so I have taken a separate photo to show the construction which helps with the dating. Her pink felt pads are still there but very worn. She has a shaved snout and cut in ears. She is fully jointed all seem quite firm, and her nose original nose stitching is still intact. Around the joints you can still see her original colour.
