This is Cyril – the most adorable old antique burlap bear – just a tad over 9 inches tall and dating to the early 1900’s – he is American. Cyril is fully jointed and completely woodwool stuffed with a non-working squeaker. His pads show some exposed woodwool but none is escaping as it is tightly packed. Cyril has very long arms and one arm is a little longer than the other. He has old boot button eyes (one a little loose but still attached) and looks to have had his nose and mouth stitching replaced – someone has given him a very sweet smile – he has had various little repairs over the years. He comes in old handmade overalls fashioned for him many moons ago and I have given him his ribbon and bell (sorry it no longer rings!). A really lovely bear looking for a home xx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
