Philly is a sweet little old Hugmee bear by Chiltern, fully jointed, dating to the 1950s. He is 12″ tall with glass eyes and a plastic doggie nose which was widely used by Chiltern in the 1950s, and the remains of his hand stitched mouth. His head is straw filled and his body and limbs are stuffed with kapok. He has a working squeaker to his tummy and has a couple of small repairs here and there, but everywhere else, apart from wear to his mohair, and grubbiness where his squeaker is, his fabric is robust. He has loads of character and a very sweet face, is clean and fresh smelling, and would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
