This is a vintage teddy.This golden coloured mohair plush teddy bear is made in England by Pedigree in the 1940s or 1950s. He is a jointed teddy bear. He is stuffed with wood wool / kapok? and the body kapok.
The nose and mouth are embroidered out of black thread. The feet and paw pads are made of velvet and in excellent condition. The body is mohair and there are rubs but still mostly furry. The head and limbs move part from his left arm which has been sewn to the body as an old repair. There is his joint disc showing at the top of his right leg. He has a solid head and is missing his eyes.Had a Made in England label in the centre of his back. This is typical of Pedigree bears. 16 tall.Lovely old chap in need of some TLCRelisted.I usually post weekends
