This poor old Bear is in desperate need of some TLC. You can see he was well loved, as a previous owner has replaced his paw pads and given first aid and restitched one of his ears in place. He appears to have had lots of cuddles as his mohair is very worn. I have taken photographs with and without camera flash, to show his true colour.
His arms, legs and head are disc jointed. He has amber and black glass eyes and horizontal black stitched nose and mouth. I can make out a voice box, growler, in his chest, but unfortunately he has lost his voice. You can also see he has a hump to the top of his back.
I believe he is an English bear and dates to around 1930.
Old Bear deserves more adventures with a loving new family. He would look great in a smart new outfit, which would bring out his charm and character.
