BARKABOY – Original SUPER RARE 1920s Omega Terrier Dog LABEL – Teddy Bear Pal
This is Barkaboy. He’s a 1920’s Terrier Dog made by the British company Omega. He’s in fantastic condition and is rare for two reasons he retains his original card Omega swing tag – which I’ve never seen before as these are often removed or lost, and because he has this, you can see that he’s called Barkaboy! As the label states he was created so you squeeze his tail and he barks? It doesn’t seem to be working so maybe it was an old reed squeaker, it’s pretty hard feeling. Barkaboy is really adorable and I haven’t seen an Omega dog like him before. :-) He’s really fluffy still with cream and lavender/grey mohair! He stands around 9 inches tall and 11 inches long, is stuffed with woodwool, has a jointed head, retains his original claw stitching, original facial stitching and has original rare beautiful blue painted back glass eyes :-) I really think he’s lovely. Sometimes dogs aren’t as cute as bears but he’s delightful, such a cute face and wonderful eyes. He would make an excellent addition to any hug as the “special doggy”.Barkaboy is now hoping for a special person who has a space in their home for him to celebrate his 100th birthday in.
