Such a pretty old bear – she would have been really lovely in the day with vivid blue mohair – sadly most of it has faded with age – but there are still traces remaining & she still retains her essential loveliness. She is 13 inches tall, fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed. Her brown velvet pads are all intact & she appears to be all original – it is hard to be 100% sure about the eyes – they look very slightly odd. Her mohair is sparse in areas but she retains about 35% & like most coloured bears her colour is most vivid to the joints. She will come as pictured in her blue dress, ribbon & pearls & is looking for her forever home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are wonderful characters. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
