Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Tiny Teddy Bear.Monty is a tiny vintage teddy bear who stands at just over 8 inches tall. But what he lacks in height ,he makes up for in character ! He is filled with wood wool throughout his head and torso, with a softer filling to his arms and legs. His paws are of a cotton twill type material and have some age wear to them, but are in good condition overall. He has three stitched claws at each paw. His fur is a curly cotton plush which is a lovely marmalade colour .As noted in the sellers notes, he is ; In vintage love worn condition with good plush coverage which is patchy in places, has visible seams, and original stitching / historic repairs visible.Monty has his original tiny amber and black glass eyes and stitched features . His muzzle is somewhat worn around the snout area adding character to his face. He is five way jointed with good joint connections, but the left arm joint has loosened somewhat with age.There looks to be some stitching to his left ear which is loosening and there is a threadbare area between his legs at his base.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell…Please take a look at the photos, as they also form part of the description.I post Monday – Friday as promptly as possible.
