Old vintage antique teddy bear. Tiny vintage teddy bear.Larry is a characterful, tiny vintage teddy bear who stands at just 9 inches tall. He is old (probably 1940s -50s ) and has a sparse coverage of mohair plush with visible seams, and some stitching visible.He has glass eyes, and a stitched nose and mouth. His face is upturned giving him a cheeky expression. On the back of his head there is the typical knot showing where his eyes have been tied in to place. Larry has no paw pads or claws, and white tufty ears which show age related marks.He has good joint connections and is five way jointed.His right arm moves but is stiff .He is softly stuffed in his belly ( probably with kapok) His arms and legs are a mixture with some wood wool in them, and he has a wood wool filled head.Larry has taken a few stitches to his left inner arm, and the back of his right leg, and there is a very small hole by his right ear … but all these features are fairly typical of an old bear with a story to tell….Please take a close look at the pictures provided as they also form part of the description.Larry does show signs of age and lovewear, and is not intended to be used as a toy as he does not have the safety features associated with modern teddy bears.I post Mon- Fri as promptly as is possible.
