Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Squeaker Teddy BearFreda is a cute old 13 inch vintage teddy bear who probably dates to the 1950s or 60s or so. She is a “Sooty” type bear whose head is rather small, arms are rather short and whose body is long!Freda is soft stuffed throughout, has glass eyes and stitched features. She has a squeaker in her back which is rather high pitched, Black felt type ears, and leatherette paw pads.She has a sparse , patchy coverage of mohair plush. There are visible seams and some age related marks, especially on her inner left leg, and some threadbare areas, especially one on her left back shoulder/ arm area of about a centimetre.All this being said this little bear still has lots of character and appeal.Freda is five way jointed with good disk jointed connections.She is no longer suitable as a toy.
