Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Small Chad Valley Bear.Mabel is a vintage Chad Valley teddy bear who stands at just 12 inches tall. She dates from the 1950s or so, and is wearing her vintage, hand made dress.As noted in the condition report she is ; In vintage, love worn condition with fairly good plush coverage .She has visible seams, some age related discolouration and fading as may be expected. Her joints are well attached but her limbs are on the floppy side, as is her head.Mabel is straw filled throughout her head and body. The straw is slightly looser at the top of her arms. Her paws are made of rexine or a painted cloth.She has black and amber glass eyes and stitched features and she proudly bears the Chad Valley blue and white label on her side.Please study the photos as they also form part of the description.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell…I post Monday – Friday as promptly as possible.
