Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Pedigree Vintage Old Teddy Bear.Sydney is a dear old 12 inch vintage teddy bear made by the English company Pedigree who I think dates from the 1950s or so. He has bells in both ears which tinkle when he is gently shaken. He also has a squeaker in his tummy, but this no longer works. His Pedigree label is just visible to his upper back seem, but this is mostly missing. Just the remains of the blue and white label are visible.Sydney is firmly stuffed throughout and has wood wool around the squeaker area. His snout is also wood wool filled. He has his original eyes and hand stitched features. His paws are a bit worn and made of soft brown velvet.He has a soft , honey coloured patchy coverage of mohair plush with visible seams and some fading has occurred over his years. There is a small hole to his back leg of about 3 or 4 millimetres . I have zoomed in to show the area as best I can.Sydney is five way jointed with good disk jointed connections.He is no longer suitable as a toy.
