Circa 1920s English or American character Teddy bear.
This loveable old teddy is nicknamed ‘Bullen’ and is an English or possibly American?
character bear with very large mouse ears and a barrel shaped body. Bullen has been loved
as you can see from the photos but he has still retained approximately 80% of his bright
golden mohair with just slight overall thinning and some small bare patches. Most of his original
features are intact, including his yellow back painted glass eyes, his black nose stitching and
his cotton twill paw pads, only his mouth stitching is missing but this could be easily replaced.
Bullen measures approximately 15″ tall, is five ways jointed and firmly stuffed with wood wool.
