1950’s Farnell blonde mohair teddy bear.
This lovely mid century Farnell bear stands at 17″ tall and is playworn but in good condition with all his original features intact including his amber and black plastic safety eyes. He is quite heavy for his size with a firm kapok stuffing and a little wood wool in his snout and he is five ways jointed with all his limbs turning easily so he can be nicely posed.
Ted has a good coverage of his blonde mohair with slight overall thinning and a few bare spots which do not detract from his charm and character and I would estimate he has retained approximately 85%+ coverage overall. His rexine pads are surface worn but otherwise in good condition with no holes or repairs and he has his Farnell label stitched to his tummy as you can see in the photos which is a little frayed but still legible.
