Sweet little 1940’s Chiltern art silk panda teddy bear.
This very sweet looking panda was made by Chiltern and dates from circa 1930’s-1940’s. He standsat just 11.5″ tall and is five ways jointed and althoug his joints are a little stiff, they still turn so he can be nicely posed and he has kapok stuffing in his body and wood wool in his head. His overall condition is very good with most of his original features intact apart from his eyes, which may be vintage replacements although they suit him very well. He has a very good coverage of his black and white art silk plush with just very slight overall thinning and a few tiny bare spots here and there but I would estimate he has retained 98% coverage overall. He is an unusual smaller sized panda bear with lots of charm and would make a lovely addition to any hug.
