An adorable old bear called Bill – he dates to the 20’s and is probably German.Bill is 16 inches tall. He would have been fully jointed but his arms & head no longer rotate. He is completely straw stuffed & quite slouchy – he needs to be propped against something when sitting or he tends to topple over. His pads are old linen – replaced many moons ago – & he has lost nearly all of his mohair – he also has some marks on his body & a few very small splits to the fabric – he is not leaking straw. All of this makes Bill sound terrible but he is a lovely old character who has done incredibly well to survive. He has a great character face – his eyes are glass replacements but suit him – & he has such a stoic look about him. A dear old chap in need of a home – he will come in his vintage coat & boots as pictured xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I will happily ship overseas but anything over 40 must be tracked & insured xxx
Due to Covid my post office is very unpredictable so I will use Hermes tracked. I will ship overseas and of course use the post office for that shipping but it may take me a little longer to get around to it xxx
