Old Antique Vintage Musical Teddy BearMaisy is a dear old vintage antique teddy bear who is about 17 inches tall, and 11 inches seated. She has been well loved over her years, but her wind up music box is still in working order – it plays the classic tune Rock a bye Baby.She has amber and black lock in safety eyes with a felt nose and hand stitched mouth. I think she dates to the 1950s or 60s , but any label she did have has long gone.Maisy has a straw filled snout and is soft filled throughout the rest of her body.She is fully jointed with good joint connections though her head is a little looser and the lining between her head and neck joint is visible if her head is tilted. She has a fairly good covering of plush with some bald and patchy areas and visible seams and stitch work. The area around her key is slightly darker from where little fingers have wound her over the years. Her paw pads are made of brown rexine and have no holes or tears. She will come wearing her hand made outfit .All in all Maisy is a lovely old bear with an endearing and characterful face. She no longer suitable as a toy. She is a collectors item only.
