~ Wilfred | 1920’s Farnell Rabbit
This is Wilfred Rabbit, he was made by the English company Farnell in the 1920’s to tie in with the cartoon character created by the Daily Mail Newspaper in 1919. Due to the fact these rabbits are now around 100 years old they are fairly rare.He measures around 9.5 inches tall and is well stuffed with woodwool. He clearly has lost some fur, but does still have a nice amount of clean mohair still remaining. Although he’s in sturdy condition Wilfred does need some help .. he’s lost an arm, and also his eyes. He’s really cute as he is, and has adjusted well to one-armed life, but also would make a lovely restoration if desired.His other friends are also listed, and patiently waiting for a snuggly new home, so please feel free to take a look at my other listings.
