This is Lucy, She’s a 10″ 1930’s Chiltern bear with an adorable big smile. She’s a gorgeous little bear with such a sweet expression and she comes to you perfectly ‘hug ready’ as she has been very carefully cleaned, restored and dressed. She would make a perfect valentines gift for someone special in your life that loves old bears or indeed a very special treat for yourself!
Lucy is five way jointed and all the joints work well. She has replacement cotter pin joints to her arms as original. She’s had a clean and smells nicely of bear (no strong perfume smells) Lucy has been very loved and played with over the years and has a sparse covering of honey blond fur (please see her photos) Her old age just adds to her endearing character.
Lucy has her original amber coloured glass eyes and they have been sewn in as original and are nice and secure. She is perfectly filled with wood wool throughout. She has cloth paw pads which are all in good condition and her left paw pad has been replaced with vintage fabric and matches in really well.Lucy has her original nose and mouth stitching (2 matching stitches have been added to her nose)She has had her left arm restored by the joint, this does not show as it has been reinforced inside with fabric. Lucy comes with her newly hand knitted dungarees which were made using the softest alpaca yarn and her pink silk ribbon that ties around her ear.
She will come protected in a strong cotton drawstring bag, bubble wrap and she will travel in a strong cardboard box. Her price includes next day special delivery for uk buyers and I use eBay’s Global shipping programme for international purchases.
