Madge | 18″ c1920’s Teddy
This is Madge. She’s a lovely early old German Teddy bear dating the 1920’s. She measures just over 18 inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool. She is covered in warm mohair, and retains lovely original boot button eyes and plum cotton pads.
Madge has a very endearing face with a large nose, and at some point has been dressed up in a pretty vintage knitted top with ribbon detailing.
I thinks she’s an attractive loved old bear who could certainly tell a tale or two!
She’s shown here with her husband who sold prior to listing, and her fellow German friends some of which are being listed separately.
