This lovely old bear is Magnus the old Chad Valley Magna – no labels but definitely a Magna bear. He is 14 inches tall and fully jointed. He is a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed and is a little floppy to arms and legs where little hands have carried him and the kapok has shifted – he still sits beautifully. He has retained probably 30% of his mohair and is all clean and fresh – he has lost most to his face but who cares when you have a face like his! All of his pads have been replaced – clearly done at different times as they are different – and he has bandaging and stitching to one paw as you can see in the pictures. Magnus has the most adorable face – he is quite baby faced despite his advanced years – and he will come as pictured in his lovely overalls A wonderful old bear – full of character – looking for his forever home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
