Gorgeous 1940s Chiltern teddy bear which is fully jointed – head is very slightly wobbly and is made from a lovely blond coloured mohair. He is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing and has a non working squeaker in his tummy.
He is all original with orange/black glass eyes, a black stitched nose and mouth and original brown rexine pads, with cardboard inserts in his feet (these could all do with a clean). He has maintained some of his original black stitched claws.
He has some general thinning of his mohair and some balding patches, but these are typical of his age!! His previous owner has also done some mending to him over the years e.g. neck joint and also on his right ankle.
He measures approximately 18″ in height.
He has been living in the loft for some time now and is in need of some tlc and a new forever home!!!
