Lovely antique / vintage dog teddy. The dog is white with quite short legs and a short upright tail. It has unusual brass eyes, with nose and mouth sewn on in black. It has a label on its chest saying ‘Hygenic Toys, made in England by, Chad Valley Co Ltd’. It has another label on its underside, by its back leg saying ‘The Chad Valley Co Ltd – By Appointment Toymakers to HM The Queen’. The dog is well made, has a lovely face, very endearing. It is in good condition, there is some slight wear to the dog as to be expected, but nothing serious. There is a thread loose by its ear, one very small hole by the lable on its underside, but again nothing major. A lovely little Chad Valley dog.
