Leonard – Handsome Early English ~ Terry / Farnell Teddy Bear ~ Antique Old ~
This super handsome gentleman is Leonard. In a nutshell – he is wonderful. If you love old antique teddies then you will adore him, he’s a teddy who will be a life long friend. He was likely made in the 1920’s and I believe his is either a WJ Terry or Farnell Bear (webbed claws, big ears, big feet).Leonard stands around just over 22inches toe to ear tip, is fully jointed and firmly stuffed with woodwool with a clunky inactive growler, and is really heavy! – he’s the heaviest ted of his size I have ever come across! He’s really wonderful, such a lovely weight to him. He’s covered in blonde mohair, has painted back glass eyes, original facial stitching in wonderful condition, and original cotton pads with claw stitching typical of Terry & Farnell bears.Leonard is most excited about an impending house move, and will make sure to travel in his vintage jacket and 1935 medal (which he’s most proud of!).He’s a really special old teddy and deserves to be treasured for decades to come, he just needs to find his lovely new owner .. x
International Buyers; He is really heavy so will be too heavy for Royal Mail, so sadly this has increased the price. If the price comes in less I will ensure to refund excess.
