This is a gorgeous Chiltern Hugmee from the 1950’s. He is made from golden mohair which is in excellent condition. He still has his original glass eyes which are firmly attached. His nose, mouth and claws are hand stitched and all his paw pads are intact though showing signs of wear. He is missing one stitched claw on his left arm and one claw has come loose on his left foot. He has no holes, stains or loose seams and all his joints are working well. The stuffing at the top of his arms has sunk a little but it just makes him even more lovable. He is wearing a Paddington Bear T shirt and shorts with the slogan “I’m a very rare sort of bear”.
A really adorable toddler sized bear who I can confirm gives great bear hugs. Comes from a pet and smoke free home.
