This old character is Lady Edna – the tattiest old monkey I have EVER seen but full of character – she refuses to give up & proudly sports her best frock & hat. She is just over 6 inches tall & would have been fully jointed but her head has been stitched in place. She is straw stuffed with plasters covering holes where straw was escaping – including her face. She has replacement eyes. Luckily she looks a whole lot better in her dress but please be aware the flower of her “hat” has been glued to her head. If you buy this old girl please love her as she is as I think any attempts at restoration could go horribly wrong unless you know what you’re doing. i think she’s lovely – very eccentric looking – & would sit well with other odd looking bears. can anyone give Lady Edna the home she deserves??
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference. ALSO PLEASE BEAR IN MIND AT THIS CURRENT TIME PARCELS MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO ARRIVE. I MAY ALSO POST USING HERMES IF POST OFFICE IS PACKED XXX
