An adorable little 11 inch bear who dates to the 30’s – she could be an old Chiltern – it is hard to be sure. She has sustained a lot of damage & definitely qualifies as a tatty old ted but I love her – she oozes character. She is fully jointed with the exception of her head which has been stitched in place. Her stuffing has slipped in the arms & legs so she is somewhat floppy to the limbs & has to sit. Two of her pads are original linen whilst 2 have been lovingly covered in a weave stitch. She has lost a lot of mohair & one of her ears is missing. Please take a look at the pictures before buying & be aware you are buying a character bear rather than a perfect one. She will come as pictured & is now looking for a place to call home – she does not take up much room & is a lovely old survivor :-) xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
