~ Kitty | 1920’s Farnell ex Musical Cat w/ Label
This is Kitty. She dates to the 1920’s, and was made by the English company Farnell. She retains her label to her bottom. Her music box doesn’t currently work as doesn’t grip, so would need attention if desired to work. She does however have her winder and also the other wire which I assume would stop/start the music when picked up. She’s lovely as she is, but would also be a rewarding project too. She is a really gorgeous cat who measures around 12 inches heigh in a seated position. She is covered in art silk, stuffed with kapok and woodwool, with original pink facial stitching and original green painted back glass cats eyes.To me, I think she is a real joy, I just adore how she sits, her, almost lifelike size and pretty face! She would make a lovely addition for any cat / bear/ Farnell collector. She’s pictured here with her other friends, most of whom are also still searching for a new home.
