Hugsy | 26″ 1940’s Chiltern Hugmee Teddy – HUGE Old Antique English Bear
This is Hugsy. Honestly i don’t know where to begin because he’s just fantastic! He dates to the 1940’s and is a Chiltern Hugmee. He measures around 26 inches from toe to ear tip.
He is fully jointed, weightily stuffed with kapok and woodwool in all original condition! He has beautiful soft clean evenly coloured dense mohair, original glass eyes, original facial and claw stitching, original velvet pads in wonderful condition and card lined feet. He was clearly looked after well as he also doesn’t have any ankle tears (often found with chiltern). Hugsy also has a working squeaker and is perfect for cuddles – honestly adorable!
