Lovely vintage Chad Valley centre-seam character teddy bear of rather large size of 30″, dating from 1950s,bearing minor remains original side seam,
made of gold mohair,
fully jointed,
hard stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
original orange and black plastic eyes,
pronounced muzzle,
vertically stitched nose,
inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original painted cloth pads in well loved condition with general wear and holes,
no claws stitching,
original growler, which still gives short growls.
Approx. 30″ (76 cm) tall.
Condition – teddy bear is in well loved condition with general wear, thinning and balding; joints are fine.
