Huge Farnell/Twyfords white wool plush mohair teddy bear. 1940’s-50’s.
This huge Farnell Twyfords cross teddy bear dates to circa 1940’s -50’s and stands
at a whopping 28″ tall. He is in generally very good condition with an excellent coverage of his white wool plush with just a little overall thinning and a couple of small bare patches.
All of his original features are still intact including amber and black glass eyes and
rexine paw pads, which are are surface rubbed with a split by his left wrist as you can see in the photos but with no other holes or damage. He is five ways jointed and they are
slightly stiff but all still turn and he can be nicely posed. He is a very handsome chap and would make a fine addition to any hug of bears.
