This wonderful bear stands 21 inches, and is a Chiltern Hugmee from the 1930’s in a lovely golden mohair. He is kapok filled throughout , and has all his original velveteen pads intact , with just a few little holes on the one pad.
He has a lovely kindly face with a benevolent smile…..always happy….
He is in nice clean condition , with a few thinning areas , but not too bad for his age.
It does look as if one eye may have been replaced at some stage, as one eye looks slightly more bulbous than the other, but it hasn’t bothered me all these years and I’ve never even noticed before, until I took the pictures.
He is clean with no unpleasant odours, and comes from a non smoking home.
