From our Gran’s estate clearance.
A family of dark brown, nice and friendly, antique / old bears seek new loving home due to their previous lady owner sadly passing away.
The Bear Family consists of Mr & Mrs Bear and Baby Bear. Circa 1930’s 1940’s at a guess?
Dark brown fur, well loved, repairs and signs of age and wear to all three bears. Please see photos.
Approximate heights of bears: 23″, 20″ and 14″
All the bears have moving limbs and feel to be straw-filled. Stitched noses, fabric paw pads and look to be original eyes.
Mr Bear has repaired feet pads and his stuffing seems to have dropped – making him quite floppy (please see photos). His pads are grubby and his ears are loose (need a couple of stitches), his muzzle is worn and there are some pink marks on his face. He does have a slight hump to his back though so he seems to have some good age to him and he is a heavy sturdy old dark brown bear. Height approximately 23″.
Mrs Bear has large floppy ears (bit loose at the edges), nice original eyes, fabric pads, stitched claws and nose. Flat feet, wear and aging to the fabric pads. A nice rich dark chocolate brown colour and hard / straw-filled. A hump to her back, a pretty lady bear. Height approximately 20″.
Baby Bear is approximately 14″ tall. He has glass eyes, stitched mouth and claws, hard / straw-filling, smaller ears and fabric pads. His dark brown fur is quite worn to his front but not too bad on his back.
Hope this lovely family of bears can find a new home.
